Connect:Gamston is group of people dedicated to serving God in Gamston. Our services are a place where people of all generations and all backgrounds can feel welcome, feel at home, and meaningfully meet with God and other people.
We are part of St Luke’s Gamston and Bridgford, but we are also our own community and meet in Pierrepont Gamston Primary School once a month on a Sunday at 3pm. Services last about an hour, with chances before and after to spend time together over refreshments. We hope to run weekly from spring 2020.
No matter your age or stage of faith, we hope you’ll join us on a Sunday afternoon to find out more.
There are a few key principles that are at the centre of our community life.
Focused on Jesus
What matters most to us is following Jesus. He is the reason we meet. Our desire is to share the story of Jesus in Gamston and grow the faith of people who already follow him.
We believe people of all generations can meaningfully learn about God, serve and worship together. So don’t be surprised if you see children setting up the chairs or adults getting stuck into the Lego.
We love the idea that everyone who comes to Connect:Gamston is invited to play a part, from pouring a hot drink for someone else to participating in a discussion in the service.
